Yao Ming’s agency told that the wife of Chinese basketball star Yao Ming gave birth to a daughter Friday afternoon at a hospital in Houston, the United States.
Yao Ming has been on the side of the game court for about a year due to a foot injury, he is very thankful to everyone who cares about his wife, Ye Li, and his daughter during the past several months.
He hopes that the media do not throw the spotlight on his family so that his daughter could grow up like other babies of ordinary families.
Last January, it was reported about prediction over future height of “Baby Yao”, the height and gender in the hopes that the child will someday lead the national basketball team as shows in image above.
